This Sunday, April 4th, we will be joining Calhoun Christian Church at 10:45 AM to celebrate Resurrection Sunday together! We're also using this Sunday to launch our Family Ministry, so age-appropriate education will be provided for kids 5th grade and down.

Parking

Meeting location will be at Calhoun Christian Church, 410 Main Street Calhoun KY 42327. There is ample parking on both sides of the building, and also several handicap accessible spots as well. Feel free to drop the family off at the front door drive through and find a parking spot!

Family Ministry

Over the next few weeks we will be working to make our process more efficient. Our goal for family ministry is for the whole family to be involved in the discipleship of children. But here’s what you can expect for Easter Sunday:

• If you have children with you today and would like them to participate in family ministry is a check in area set up in the fellowship area through the door on the stage on the door to the right. Please check your children in before the beginning of the worship service at 10:45.

• We recognize that some children benefit greatly from following along with the main service and participating in worship with their entire family. This is a great opportunity for adults to lead children in worship. If you would like your kids to stay with you in the main gathering please feel free to do this as well.

• If you are unsure where to go please ask one of the greeters at the door to direct you. Children that are older than nursery age (potty-trained), will be meeting in the classroom area downstairs.

• There is a handicap accessible entrance on the south side of the building for anyone who needs to access the Nursery age children will be meeting in the nursery on the main floor directly behind the check in area.

• At the door, one of our family ministry volunteers will be there to direct you. Children will have their temperature taken, receive name tags, and be placed on a sign in sheet. From there our volunteers will assist children to their age appropriate group.

• During the gathering, children will participate in the following

  • Sing worship songs

  • Receive age appropriate Bible lessons

  • Be lead in prayer and instruction from volunteers under pastors direction

  • Participate in crafts and activities that are coordinated with the day’s Bible lesson

At the conclusion of the gathering please come to the fellowship room (through the door on the right side of the stage) to pick up your children.
